Use the three dots
Open the post or Reel, tap the three dots, choose Copy link, then paste that URL into RecipePin.
Private recipe library
Choose a recipe PDF from this device. Text-based PDFs can be converted into an editable recipe; scanned PDFs are attached for now.
Choose a screenshot or photo of a recipe card. RecipePin will read the text and create an editable recipe.
Start with an empty recipe card for dishes you cooked from memory, notes, or your own experiments.
Keep this handy
RecipePin works best when you give it the clearest recipe source you can find: a recipe website, social post URL, YouTube link, PDF, image, or pasted text.
Open the post or Reel, tap the three dots, choose Copy link, then paste that URL into RecipePin.
Tap Share, copy the video URL, and paste it into RecipePin. Descriptions and captions give RecipePin the best chance of finding the recipe.
Open the actual recipe page, copy the address from the browser bar, and paste the full URL into RecipePin.
If the post links to a recipe website, open that link and copy the website URL. If the recipe is in comments, copy the text and use Pasted recipe text.
Use Import PDF for recipe PDFs, or Import image for screenshots and photos of recipe cards. You may need to tidy the result before saving.
Pinterest is not supported in this early version. Open the original recipe website from Pinterest if you can, then copy that URL instead.
Install RecipePin
RecipePin is a PWA, so you can add it to your device for quick access without coming back through the landing page.
Open RecipePin in Chrome, Edge, Brave, or another PWA-friendly browser. Look for the install icon in the address bar or browser menu, then choose Install RecipePin.
Open RecipePin in Safari, tap Share, then choose Add to Home Screen.
Open RecipePin in Chrome, tap the three-dot menu, then choose Install app or Add to Home screen.
